Tippmann announces X7 Phenom - Check this baby out!

Post  Prowler on Mon Oct 19, 2009 8:56 pm

New Product Update from Denny Tippmann, Jr.

Denny Tippmann, Jr. and the team from Tippmann Sports want to invite all Tippmann owners and anyone in paintball to see Tippmann’s first electro pneumatic marker using the .68 caliber paintball platform. This is a new technology that will take woodsball and scenario play to a whole new level, and provide our loyal Tippmann players with the marker they have been asking for.

We are officially launching this marker on Wednesday, October 21, at 1 pm Central Time on our Tippmann web site at www.tippmann.com. In addition, this launch will also be on our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/tippmann, MySpace at http://www.myspace.com/tippmannsports and YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/user/TippmannSports. Players may also comment on this new marker by visiting us at http://www.twitter.com/tippmann or on our Tippmann Forum at http://tinyurl.com/yzgx7zs.

To view this video and share it with your friends, be sure to sign up on any of these social web sites or visit our Tippmann Forum before the official launch date. Denny and the Tippmann team are excited to share this new marker on all these Tippmann sites so we can reach as many people as possible. We want to help create some excitement in the industry, and build sales and traffic to your local paintball dealer. We can assure you that you will not be disappointed.

We look forward to seeing you Wednesday, October 21, at 1 pm Central Time.
Denny Tippmann, Jr.
Senior Vice President of Research and Product Development for Tippmann Sports

Update on the New Electro Pneumatic Marker from Tippmann

Post  Prowler on Tue Oct 20, 2009 7:08 pm

Update on the New Electro Pneumatic Marker from Tippmann
Today at 5:29pm
As we outlined on Monday, the new marker from Tippmann, the X7 Phenom, will be launching on the Tippmann web site, as well as many of our social web sites on Wednesday, October 21, at 1 pm Central Time.

At that time, you may view the web cast by visiting http://www.tippmann.com or our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/tippmann

As a quick background, in developing this new marker we considered designing a totally new platform, but the opportunity to make the "Ultimate Woodsball Marker" even better was too overwhelming. And the feedback we got from current Tippmann users was to develop a marker that used current Tippmann mods. This not only makes the transition easier for Tippmann players, but our dealers don't need to stock another complete set of mods. With the new marker built around the existing X7 platform, the X7 Phenom–which is nearly 3 inches shorter than the X7–can still accept more than 20 current X7 mods and upgrades, including the Flatline Barrel.

No other marker has ever been tested so thoroughly by Tippmann. Here are just a few of the comments received:

"This is the marker my team has been waiting for. Low pressure, simple operation, fast and accurate, mil-sim with the benefit of using existing X-7 mods."

"Thank you for bringing a spool valve into the Tippmann lineup. It helps bridge the gap between us and those "tourney" guys..."

"Much lighter, easier to clean, better e-grip, and more efficient air use. It is everything we were looking for in a woodsball marker."

Thanks again for your continued support. We look forward to you joining us on Wednesday at 1 pm Central Time.

In an effort to save money towards buying an X-7 Phenom, I have decided to sell my dreams of owning the SP-8. Any takers? No reasonable offer refused.
