Stepping it up

Post  Tom75 on Tue Aug 24, 2010 11:07 am

So, I've decided to challenge myself and enter the world of pump play. Any tips I can get will be appreciated. Can't wait to see how I fare with the big dogs lol

I hope you grow to love pump play as much as I do. Smile
There is nothing quite like the rush you get playing with a limited ROF amidst the full autos...
Did you pick up a pump yet? Open class or stock class?

I am impatiently awaiting it's arrival. It's a stock class phantom pump. Got a good deal on it. I'm sure I will love using it. I see how much you enjoy throwing paint with your pumps.

Straight into stock class...I like your style. Smile

Phantoms are pretty efficient, you should get 3 or more 10 round tubes to a 12 gram.

Playing stock class not only limits your ROF, but you have limited ammo, and limited air.
Snap shooting and movement will be your friend. Smile

Not ending up in front of me in a firefight will also be your friend.

@ Prowler: yeah, figured I skip open class and dive right in. I fully expect to get lit up by semis while I adjust my style of play lol

@ The General: I hate getting into a fire fight with you no matter what I'm carrying lol

That is a realistic expectation, and after some time to adjust your play style, you will start to hold your own again.
